My new favorite city on west coast US

Hi Reader!

I think Seattle is one of the coolest cities on the West Coast, and that’s saying a lot from someone who loves San Francisco as a local. It has this creative, young, outdoorsy energy - a mix of coffee, tech, music, and nature that gives the city its own unique vibe.

My kid started college near Seattle, so I will be visiting a lot over the next few years and am looking forward to exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle is known for its rainy weather, which also makes it lush and green year-round. I’ve been twice already, and luckily, both times we had sunny weather.

On my recent trip to Seattle, I spent a full day exploring the city's main attractions, from the historic Pike Place Market to the Space Needle and more.

The highlights for me were taking a fun food tour at Pike Place Market and admiring the city skyline views from both the harbor cruise and the top of the Space Needle.

There is so much more in Seattle and Washington that's on my bucket list, but for now, I hope you enjoy seeing Seattle through one of my blog posts!

Hi Reader! Happy New Year! It’s been a little while since I last wrote, so I wanted to say hello and check in. How were your holidays? Ours were busy in the best possible way. My siblings and their families visited and were all together for the holidays. Our group of 14 drove down to Southern California and visited San Diego, Los Angeles, and Universal Studios. We picked the one week when it decided to rain, of course, but we still had a lot of family fun, along with a fair amount of chaos,...

Hi Reader! Have you been to any of the Hawaiian Islands? If yes, hit reply and let me know which one. If not, then here's a vacation idea for you for the upcoming winter holidays! Hawaii has great weather year-round, but I especially love visiting in winter to escape from the cold and enjoy warm tropical beaches. ➡️ Visiting Hawaii during winter: What to expect and things to do We have been to Hawaii four times so far: Oahu, Big Island, Maui, and then Oahu again, in that order. The first...

Hi Reader! This summer, I finally made it to London for the first time! It was part of our big London + Paris trip, and since we had never been before, I wanted to give ourselves enough time to really experience the city. At first, one week in London might sound like too much, but it turned out to be the perfect pace. We covered the major highlights - Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, saw three(!) West End theatre shows, and visited the very popular Harry Potter...
